Crew Qualifications...

The primary purpose of the training and qualification module is to provide the capability to track all flight crewmember training and qualification checks.  The User has complete control of the course used in certifying training, including minimum time requirement and recurring training information, which can be designated during setup.  Additional forms are provided to enter training and checking events, as well as run reports and determine legalities for crewmembers.

The following screen shot is from the Flight Deck Crewmember record jacket.  As you can see it is very similar to the HR Employee record.  However, the information contained is this series of tabs is based on government required recordkeeping requirements, with some additional data added in.

The License and Rating Tab shows all information from all FAA issued certificate that this employee holds.  License and rating entries are performed through the license and rating entry screen.  This includes: 

·         Commercial Pilot Certificates

·         Airline Transport Pilot Certificates

·         Flight Instructor Certificates

·         Flight Engineer Certificates

·         Airframe and Powerplant Certificates

·         Type Ratings Held

This crew qual tab displays information about the crewmembers medical certificate, latest events by category, and general training course information for new-hire and recurrent training.

If the user double clicks on the desire line in either the "Last Event By Category" or "General & Special Training Events" listboxes they can zoom in on the record information for that event.  Refer to the next page for additional information.
